PELICAN FEEDING
22/05/2007

/

‘A wonderful bird is the pelican. His beak can hold more than his belican’.
The Australian Pelican is found throughout the country in freshwater, estuarine and marine wetlands and also in waterways including lakes, rivers, coastal islands and shores.

Pelican feeding at The Entrance is one of the areas most popular attractions and operates 365 days a year come rain, hail or shine. The Entrance is just a short 5 minute drive from Kims, and you will get an entertaining and educated insight into pelicans, bird and marine life.

Locals feed the pelicans every day at 3.30pm. Head to The Entrance foreshore at
Memorial Park to see the event.
